We where up early again this morning and left Badplaas, and after a scenic drive over a mountain pass we found ourselves at an altitude of 1775m above sea level and our starting point in Warburton. Guy took off first in a sunny but crispy 13 Celcius. Roads alot flatter today with Guy feeling a bit flat after the pass he climbed yesterday - he got through his 21km in 2hrs14min. Legs are starting to feel it a bit. The scenery is awesome - grasslands, with plenty of wet areas, and wildlife and birdlife about! We witnessed a buck being chased by locals hunting with pack dogs - so cruel! then later some Dassies on a rocky outcrop. It's amazing what you hear and see next to the road when it's quiet and no cars around. Here is a pic of Guy handing over to Riaan at the BHP Billiton Energy Coal South Africa (BECSA) handover point.
