Stage 1 On the Go

Our three brave runners started outside the Nedbank Branch in Brown Street Nelspruit at 11am. The first half of todays stage is all ready behind us. Riaan is on the road, and Guy (pictured here) has completed his portion of today's stage... Heard today of pledges coming in from Kirkwood 78 Table (R4078) and Cradock 37 (R1000)... thanks Gents! The Tables from the EP Area are leading the way in pledges so far...

Danie is running next and when asked for comment, said the following "I'll comment after I've done my bit... Riaan is sweating as it's hot out there"

Background on the Fundraising Event

Three Members of Round Table Southern Africa will be running approximately 350 Miles4Marrow in March 2010, with the aim to raise in excess of ½ million Rand in aid of those suffering with Leukaemia.

Following a route starting in the Lowveld city of Nelspruit, the runners run in relay (and together on shorter days) and wind their way uphill and over the Mpumalanga Escarpment, through the Highveld, then pass through Pretoria and end on The Melrose Arch Piazza.

You may wonder why?
